@makeupzised I’m wearing MAC woodwinked on the lid, espresso blended into the crease, and brule on the brow bone. I popped a little bit of MAC Goldmine right in the center of my crease to create some dimension. Liner is Clinique Gel Liner in black.

What eye shadows are you wearing here? You look stunning!

@theocmylife its defn. a long wearing foundation. I don’t experience any fading throughout the day. Just make sure you touch up with a bloting paper or powder as needed to get rid of any shinnies.
As far as drying out your skin, I would suggest that you make sure that any dry spots or blemishes are extra moisturized before applying. Because it is a thicker foundation it can be more drying on scabs and dry areas than other foundation products.

Does it dry out the skin?
and does it stay on all day?

It is a definitely a true yellow undertone especially the opal shade(the lightest shade). You should really try usibg a make up primer before applying the foundation after your moisturizer. Your foundation will last longer, glide and blend much more easily on the skin.

This is the first time I have come across one of your videos. You are very articulate and knowledgeable . I just subscribed! Looking forward to tuning in more.

@VeeKarr1 Well, I bought it at a drugstore, so to me it’s a drugstore foundation. And you can’t get it at Nordstroms or Macy’s so it’s not a department store/makeup counter foundation. But I can say that it doesn’t apply like drugstore, it’s very nice, albeit thick and high coverage.

I’m curious, is this a drug store foundation technically? I know the price says otherwise, but why is it mostly only sold at CVS?

@phatfuc09 I don’t see why it wouldn’t. We have it readily available at CVS drugstores in Northern California. I’ve also sometimes seen it at Bed Bath and Beyond if they have a beauty section.

@missdiorcherie212 sure! just make sure you blend the edges of the concealed spot so it blends well together.
January 13th, 2012 at 6:43 pm
do you think it can be used as “concealer” and not everywhere on your face?

@CatlynA28 I think the color is neutral enough. It’s hard to tell because I’m so fair skinned, but I know that some other YouTube gurus have said that it does pull a little more yellow vs. pink

How would this fair on us more yellow toned gals?
