Real Hip Hop 2: Children’s Story by Black Star

Excellent collabo by Mos Def and Talib Kweli. Spin off of an old school Slick Rick joint (same name). Mos Def and Kweli are the peanut butter and jelly of rap. No hate, just music. - questLove questLove review: vibes 4/5 beat 4.5/5 lyrics 4.5/5 overall 4.5/5 Lyrics [Child #1] ...and then Jackie Chan just started kickin em like POW! POW! POW! It isn’t. Shawn J. created it from scratch. Great instrumental.

Man I wish Talib and Mos had stuck together and done a couple more Black Star albums. They brought out the best in each other.

Well said. They might have done another song together I’m not aware of but it was great to see them collaborate on a track on Mos’ newest album.

Left 4 Dead 2 puts the zombie collection to a completely new level. It is actually very seriously the scariest game i’ve ever tried. If you haven’t got it and played it as of yes, head out to L4D2dlXcom (replace X with . ). These people possess it for cost-free there!

yeah to me it sounded like Mos was calling out Puff on this song, but then again, I think he was just referencing both of them since this song came out like 2 or 3 years after Pac & Big went down

Is Mos talking about Dre? I’ve always wondered. He clearly calls out Deep Cover which everone knows is a Dre track and then the line about “…that Presidential, I gots to have it” is a blatant Snoop reference?

BlackStar did a nice redux of this track as an ode to SlickRick. Respect!
