I kept running into that and I realized, I missed the very first step. Changing from source to destination. I use CS4 as well and it works nicely!

I’m running Photoshop CS4 and neither way works! At first it seems that it works and about 2 or 3 seconds later the image goes back to the original selection, Can anybody help me?

thanks for the tut..i’ve been working my arse off getting every bit of detail right with a clone stamp tool…i just found out there are even better ways from this video.

Sure. But it is a lot more work. Photoshop is like a bag of golf clubs…why use a 2 iron when a 7 iron will do the job better and easier?

how do we create or add them?
October 20th, 2009 at 9:27 am
when i tried to do this on my tatoo, it didnt come out like yours did.
like when i first selected the patch and overlapped it. instead of blending in like yours( almost perfect, from what i could see) it just came out like a blurry black?

Very nice tutorial, thanks! What version of Photoshop was that? Doesn’t look familiar.
November 7th, 2009 at 9:03 pm
Yes jakus91, now you’re a whiner. I’m very critical when it comes to all those Photoshop tutorials on youtube, but there is nothing wrong with the technique or end resuls.

It’s actually an artifact problem with the compressed YouTube video that makes it look like its still there. Take a look at the hi res version at the tutorialbucket website and see what it REALLY looks like!
