The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo HD Trailer – David Fincher Version
By
This is the first trailer for the David Fincher version of "The GIrl with the Dragon Tattoo" based on the novel by Stieg Larsson. Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, ruthless computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. When the pair link Harriet's disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from almost forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history. But the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves.

I am so excited for this. After reading the series and watching the swedish films, I was dissapointed with the films and the portrayal of Lisabeth Salander. Rooney Mara is perfect for Lisabeth. David Fincher never dissapoints.

it will never beat the swedish version.

@willbeezy801 You should seriously listed to Zeppelin too, though. Best rock band ever.

This trailer feels like it’s repeatedly smacking me in the face.
And I like it.

@JennyG61 Well said…he is genius…and the fact that he collaborates w/ Trent Reznor so often only adds to that fact…ie Se7en…Social Network…nuff said

@willbeezy801 Immigrant Song, originally by Led Zeppelin, re-imagined by Trent Reznor (NIN) & Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs). No, the full version of this track hasn’t been released yet.

@TwiztedSound i’m pretty sure movie trailers aren’t directed or put together by the director, but i’m sure he/she has some say in how much of the film is revealed in a trailer. regardless, my faith in this film hasn’t waivered since early production when i learned who’d be playing lisbeth, to now, almost a year later.

WHAT a Brilliant trailer – I can’t wait for the movie!!! I’d watch anything by David Fincher, even if he directed the phone book!!!

Looks good, hopefully hollywood doesn’t add a bunch of bullshit to make the most badass story, somehow better with cool effects

holy god, a remix of the immigrant song. did they finish it yet or is it just a tiny thing for a movie?

I don’t know why people even complain about remakes. If you don’t like remakes don’t watch them. Just stick with the original. Simple really.

@Jtsolario
true, its a big disapointment. Oh well, I dont really know, are trailers directed by the director of the movie? or are other people responsible for this? because I think Fincher will do a great job with this movie. So a way too long trailer wont be a problem for me then.

I’ve been waiting for this ever since I read the books last year. The Swedish version just didn’t work for me. I hope this one’s better. Also, Daniel Craig is a sexy Blomkvist.

@TwiztedSound i completely agree. too bad they decided to slap us in the face with a 4 minute trailer that pretty much tells the entire main plot, as well as a few of the subplots in semi-chronological order. i’d be mad if i hadn’t read the book first.

@johnnyrocketisgod
bullshit, go troll someone else.

@TwiztedSound Actually if you watch original trailers of old movies, they give away the story more than anything does today.

Trent Reznor producing his musically digitized limitless potential that fits into a zenith performance of an ideally ascetically pleasing trailer. Pleasing to the mind and eye Best trailer my senses have met.

@SlapphePikkur I picture Noomi as lisbeth when I read the first book because she was the lisbeth I’d seen in movie trailers and stuff, but then when I got all excited for this one, I changed my perception so I imagined all the of the actors in this movie as the characters.
