"My Oh My" this is getting serious. As we strive to make the worlds best beeswax all natural lip balm here at www.KissMyBees.com and www.FloridaHerbHouse.com the worrying has escalated. What is happening to our honey bees?
We have been starting to see the actual effects of the honey bee decline after placing our last order for bulk beeswax. We have always been getting our beeswax here in our home state of Florida and last month was the first time we had to order from outside the sunshine state. Is this due to the rapid decline in honey bees or are we just worrying too much? Nope we have some serious problems with the honey bee decline. Why are the bee colonies down as much as 60% we ask? Well it does seem that bees and humans may have something in common. Nutrition is as vital to us as it may be to the honey bees and it is possible that the bees are undernourished which may be the cause of the problem. Many states are seeing less dense bee hives and this may be contributed to the lack of nutrition the bees are getting.
Another possible cause of the honey bee crisis may be the pesticides that are being used. Many hives die as a result of "pesticide poisoning". There are literally billions of honey bees dying prematurely and the source must be found before this world suffers severely. The honey bee only has a six week life cycle in the summer, three weeks inside the hive and three weeks outside, but many are not even making it to the fourth week.
So yet another possible source of this dilemma is the huge rise in cell phone stations and also cell phone use. Some are claiming the huge growth of clogged air waves with cellular waves may be disturbing the bees and causing the early deaths. Stephen C. Sharp who has been studying this problem for many weeks while not a scientist gives no personal merit to this cause. He states "Cellular phones have been around for long enough to see a potential problem with the bees. This problem came like a train wreck. I think there would have been many initial signs if the cellular wavebands were the source of the bee problem.".
Other topics that have been thrown around as to the potential source of the bee crisis has been a virus or possibly mites that have worked their way into the bee colonies. Whatever the cause it must be isolated and controlled. Bottom line is if the bees all die maybe we will too! Bees are the only source to carry pollen of various fruits and nuts. Many plants do not reap the benefits of wind travel for pollination therefore if the bees vanish so does much of our food supply. We would begin to see a decline in new plants, brush, flowers, crops, and more. The honey bee gets food such as nectar and pollen from flowers and in turn pollinates the flower which allows the plant to reproduce. No bees, no reproduction!
Sincerely,
Florida Herb House

Angular Cheilitis - 3 Main Causes

While the symptoms of Angular Cheilitis look amazingly like the symptoms of other very serious conditions and diseases, the painful and embarrissing mouth corner sores associated with Angular Cheilitis don't have anything to do with Aids or Herpes. Rather, the affliction is typically a fungal bacterial condition that is grows and gets entrenched at the corners of the mouth and lips.
While there are several different causes for the fungal bacterial infection, there is one cause that is affects many thousands of people. Cheilitis is a facial skin condition that can be seen in populations the world over. People of all ages, races, and socio-economic levels are afflicted with this unsightly and painful problem.
By far, most cases of repeated and painful bouts of split mouth corners are an accumulation of saliva at the corners of the lips and mouth. What allows saliva to form in the corners of the mouth? This article discusses the three main reasons why saliva accumulates and stands in the mouth corners.
1. The most frequent reason is that Angular Chelitis develops is from over exposure to harsh weather conditions or too much sun. This is because when kids play outside or people work outside for long periods of time their lips get parched and there is a natural tendency to lick them.
The constant licking along with a slightly compromised immune system allows the fungal bacterial infection to take hole and become entrenched in the mouth corners producing deep, angry looking, crusted over and sometimes bleeding and oozing sores at the angles of the lips and mouth. In severe prolonged cases, the sores extend to encompass the entire lip area. The lips become swollen and red, and are generally repulsive to observe.
Angular Cheilitis caused by lip licking can be prevented by the diligent use of a good lip balm like Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, or some other high quality lip balm. Outdoor workers should keep a balm stick in their pocket for easy and regular use, and moms should stop their kids at the door and apply lip balm. While this is not an effective Angular Cheilitis remedy, it is an excellent preventative.
2. Another common cause for Angular Cheilitis is badly fitting false teeth, no teeth, or missing teeth. When dentures fail to fit properly or when the mouth isn't supported as it should be for a variety of dental reasons, little folds develop at the corners of the mouth and saliva collects in these folds. This provides the infection the moisture it needs to survive and thrive.
Of course, the preventive in dental related cases is to get to the dentist and have dentures adjusted to fit properly, or have the appropriate dental work completed. This cause for the affliction is typical in older people, and unfortunately a lot of it is seen in nursing homes. Once the dental issue is resolved, the condition will improve.
3. Sleep drooling is another common cause for this painful and repugnant condition. If this is the cause of your Angular Cheilitis, make sure that your sheets and pillowcases are washed frequently until you can eliminate the condition with one of the online Angular Cheilitis cures.
There are other less common causes for the loathsome looking skin condition including certain vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and in some countries including the US, some people develop it as a result of certain forms of malnutrition.
Regardless of what is causing your Angular Cheilitis, the quick way to eliminate it from your face is to prevent the saliva from collecting at the corners of your mouth. There are a number of online Angular Cheilitis cures that do that very thing. They deprive the fungal bacterial infection of the moisture it needs to survive and continue to wreck havoc on your face and life.
Probably the worst part about having the disease is the social ramifications of the infection. It is impossible to hide whether you are male or female, young or old or rich or poor. When people look at you in the face when you are in the midst of a bout of the illness, they feel compelled to instantly look away. Soon, the unfortunate victim of Angular Chelitis starts to avoid other people and lives like an outcast.
If you or someone you care about is now battling or does repeatedly struggle with Angular Cheilitis, the simple online remedy works within a few hours to start returning the ugly looking skin at the mouth corners to its normal healthy condition.

Dairy Ingredient Helps Prevent Diabetes
Researchers have found a natural substance in dairy foods that may slash your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. That substance is called"trans-palmitoleic acid" and it's a fatty acid found in milk, cheese, butter and yogurt. It is not made in the human body, thus dairy is the one place to find it.

Tattoos have been around for over 5000 years. The desire to get rid of them has probably also existed for that long.
People have many various reasons to get rid of their tattoos. These often include things like outgrowing the design or purpose for wanting the tattoo, career change or beginning a new job or maybe just buyer’s remorse.
Fortunately, there are a variety of removal options now available. The most popular are listed in this article.
Excision
This option basically involves a doctor or surgeon cutting the tattooed skin off. It usually begins with a doctor consultation where the risks, benefits and costs are reviewed. For smaller tattoos, it often just involves removing the tattooed area and stitching the opening closed. However, for larger ones, a skin graft may be needed. Excision carries the risk of infection and other complications but today excision is rarely ever used.
Dermabrasion
This technique involves using an abrasive tool to sand the layers of. The most common risk is a change in pigmentation; the skin where the tattoo was can sometimes become lighter. This is normally quite an expensive procedure but is less common than other procedures
TCA skin peel
Peels have been used for over fifty years now. In the 1980’s tattoo removal experiments were done and it was discovered that a 25 - 50 % acid concentration was the most effective.
Peels create a controlled burn that peels the top layers of skin which are then replaced by new skin. Peel kits are now widely available online. They are not affected by color, unlike laser equipment so they will work on any tattoo color.
Laser tattoo removal
Now considered the gold standard for removing tattoos, they break up the ink by using a variety of pulsed wavelengths. The method allows for precise focusing of intense light to eliminate the tattoo while protecting the surrounding tissue from heat damage.
Several treatments are usually needed and the total number of sessions will depend on a few different factors like the tattoo size, colors, depth and quality of ink. It doesn’t come without pain and the treated area often has a sunburned feeling afterwards.
Fading usually takes several months and it is considered very effective but is not full proof. This is because some inks will not respond well to laser light. Also, lasers sessions have been known to leave a ‘shadow-like’ appearance in the treated area. Another risk is skin pigmentation changes. The laser removes pigment from your normal skin pigmentation as well as from the tattoo and this may be permanent.
Salabrasion
This is now considered an older method and it is rarely used today. The tattoo is rubbed aggressively with salt or a salt sanding block. It often involves a lot of pain.
Intense Pulsed Laser Treatment
This method involves the use of short bursts of light beams pointed, through a prism, at the tattoo. The prism is placed on the skin, over the tattoo. It creates different light colors which are required for different colors of ink. The prism creates literally every color of the rainbow and can therefore target all ink colors. Just like laser treatments, the light breaks up the inks which are then absorbed by the body over time.
Cryosurgery
This method involves freezing the top layers of skin, then the next layer beneath is frozen and so on. It usually does involve pain after the thawing takes place. It is quite uncommon these days.
Tattoo removal cream
More and more consumers are choosing to combine laser treatments with a tattoo removal cream to lighten their tattoos before having expensive laser sessions. This will hopefully lower their overall cost since they could require fewer laser treatments. They usually function as bleaching agents and many products such as Wrecking Balm and Tat B Gone are now widely available on the internet.
Some offer guarantees while others do not. They are a lower cost method, although their success rates are not 100% proven. They do not have the risks associated with the surgical methods and prices are usually from -0 for a trial kit.

Billy Hill’s Tattoo TV – Wrecking Balm: Does it work? – Episode 7
Posted by: | Comments

Ok gang here it is the seventh installment in the wrecking balm series. I can honestly say it is not really doing anything and I am doing everything they say to do... We shall see what happens more to follow of course so stay tuned... We saw the Tattoo Wrecking Balm system in Wally World the other day and decided to buy it and test it out because we thought it was a scam. This is our sixth attempt at it, and we will keep showing you our results weekly. From Tattoo Wrecking Balm's website: "Wrecking Balm is a tattoo removal system discovered and formulated by two laboratories in over two-and-a-half years with a team of specialists, "Doc Wilson" has produced a simple 3-step tattoo removal process that just takes 3 minutes every other day. This unique system safely combines three technologies and two simple methods of skin exfoliation and tattoo removal. The first uses an FDA-approved mechanical hand-held medical device that gently, but effectively, removes the upper layers of the epidermis (outer skin layer) to start your tattoo fade process. The second step uses a chemical serum that penetrates deep into the underlying lower layers, breaking up the cellular matrix in which the ink pigments are imbedded and fading your tattoo from within. Once the Wrecking Balm tattoo removal system has begun It takes 4 to 6 weeks for cells to naturally regenerate and complete one tattoo fading cycle. This skin cell renewal process is the key as the ink injected cells work their way to the ...
